Kick-off Meeting
Held each Fall
Each Fall, we enjoy a vibrant lunch with friends, both old and new. This is a perfect time to explore our many interest groups that are available to our members. At the 2025 Kickoff, we collected items and donations for Teacher Supply Warehouse.
Annual Holiday Party
Held each December
Our annual Holiday Party is held each December. In addition to great food and friendly faces, it is a wonderful way to start the Holiday Season and celebrate with lifelong friends.
Club Birthday Party
Held each March
Our annual birthday party celebrates our many years as a club and is typically held in March. At this event, we honor our Past Presidents and members who have been with our club for twenty or more years! In 2026, we celebrated 72 years as a club with a Somewhere Over the Rainbow party theme.
Spring Afternoon Party
Held each May
Our annual Spring Afternoon Party is our final Signature Event of the year. This event is held each May and marks the installation of the incoming Executive Board for the new year.
Year-Round Events
Held throughout the year
Our club has five general meetings a year, in September, October, January, February, and April. In addition, members enjoy getting together monthly for Friday Night Social and Mix and Mingle events. Our end of year picnic is held each June.
Membership
Greensboro Newcomers Club is dedicated to helping residents discover all that our city has to offer. Our members come from all walks of life and share a common passion for exploring and connecting with others.
